Pall Ring

Product description:
The Pall Ring is an improvement of the Raschig Ring with the same cylindrical dimensions but with two rows of punched and formed fingers to the inside of the cylindrical ring. This adjustment proved to be a huge improvement as the two rows of fingers provide a significant performance increase. The capacity and efficiency were improved and the pressure drop was reduced. |

I-Rings |
Product description:
The I-Ring gives the best of both worlds in terms of performance i.e. low-pressure drop and high efficiency. The specific saddle shaped packing provides a lower pressure drop at the same vapor and liquid loads. Hence it can be effectively used in both high pressure as well as vacuum towers. Some of its other advantages include large effective interacial area, high mechanical strength and low cost. |

Tall Pak |
Product description:
The Tall Pak is an improvement of the Pall Ring. The aspect ratio is still 1:1, but the number of fingers has been doubled. Through the circumferential stiffening ribs the mechanical strength has been increased. |

C-Ring |
Product description:
To develop a ring which has a preferred orientation in the right direction, the aspect ratio had to be changed to 1:3. The height of the C-Ring is 1/3 of the diameter. This results in a preferred orientation of the packing elements with the cylindrical axis tending towards vertical. |
